  • Account details: name/username, email, phone number (if you provide it), age/date of birth (where required), and preferences you choose.
  • Profile information: bio, photos, interests, and other profile fields you submit.
  • Messages & content: messages you send and content you upload (if enabled).
  • Support: information you provide when you contact us for help.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: device type, browser type, IP address, pages viewed, timestamps, referral URLs, and error logs.
  • Cookies: used for sessions, preferences, security, and analytics.

C. Camera, microphone, and media

If you use video chat or media features, your browser will request permission for camera and microphone. We do not access your camera or microphone unless you enable it and your browser permits it.

  • Calls are not recorded by default. If recording is introduced later, we will clearly notify you and update this policy.
  • Video/audio may be transmitted peer-to-peer and/or via relay services depending on network conditions.

D. Location data (optional)

If you enable location-based features, we may collect approximate location from IP address, or precise GPS location if you grant device permission. You can disable location permissions at any time in your browser/device settings.

2) How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate the Service (profiles, matching, messaging, video chat).
  • Maintain safety and integrity (fraud prevention, moderation, enforcing rules).

3) How We Share Information

A. With other users

Your profile is visible to other users based on your settings. Messages are visible to recipients. During calls, audio/video is shared with the other participant.

B. With service providers

We may use third-party providers for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, authentication (e.g., Google/Facebook login if enabled), communications (email/SMS if enabled), and security. They may process data only to provide services for us.

C. Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect users, the public, or Lumior, including investigating abuse, fraud, or security issues.

D. Business transfers

If Lumior is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (such as safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance). If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data unless we must keep certain records for legal/safety reasons (e.g., abuse reports, fraud prevention logs).

Lumior is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Lumior, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

For users in the Philippines, Lumior processes personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its implementing rules, where applicable.
